How Do I Make An Appointment?

Is My Appointment Confidential?
Yes, your privacy is protected by both professional ethics and by law. We will not
release any information to creditors or anyone else unless you give us written
authorization to do so.
Does My Spouse Need To Attend?
We recommend that both partners attend, if applicable.
What Should I Bring?
As every client is different and has different needs, what to bring will depend on
what services you are in need of.
Basic items needed:
1. A copy of your credit report which can be obtained for free at
www.annualreport.com.
2. Any up to date credit card statements that you would like to get
out of debt with.
3. An up to date home mortgage statement that you would like to
payoff faster.
4. An up to date car payment statement that you would like to
payoff faster.
5. A paycheck stub which shows your net income.
6. Your monthly utilities bills, cell phone bill, etc. – these items are
used in the analyzing and budgeting.
Will You Loan Me Money?
No, we are not a lender. Our mission is to help you get out of debt not lend you
money.
Can Debt Free Counselors, Inc. Erase Bad Credit?
No one can erase negative credit history. However, if there are errors on your
credit report, we will be glad to tell you how to get them corrected.
Will Debt Free Counselors, Inc. Affect My Credit Rating?
No, Debt Free Counselors, Inc., does not report any information to any of the
credit bureaus. Seeing that Debt Free Counselors, Inc., does not offer Debt
Management Programs, Debt Settlement Programs or Loans of any kind, we do
not deal with the credit bureaus nor do we deal with your creditors.
